If you want to get to Koh Samui a cheap way – take a regular bus that goes from Phuket Town.

If you want more comfortable way, take a taxi from Phuket To Don Sak pier and spend 5 hours, the price can be 3500-4000THB ($120).
If you’re alone or have only one more person with you, it’s better to take a bus and then then you take a ferry. If there is a big company of you then think a car service and rent a car online. You can always divide the price (1 day = 1000 baht) between all the persons and it doesn’t seem so expensive.
